The star spacer is designed to ensure the protective concrete layer in vertical concrete structures, such as monolithic walls and columns (wall formwork).
The star spacer provides a protective layer ranging from 20 mm to 50 mm, depending on the type of spacer.
It prevents the reinforcement from touching the formwork, thereby ensuring a concrete layer between the reinforcement and the air.
The required quantity is from 4 to 6 pieces per 1 m².
