Star Spacer (Rebar Wheel Spacer)
The star spacer is designed to ensure the protective concrete layer in vertical concrete structures, such as monolithic walls and columns (wall formwork).
The star spacer provides a protective layer ranging from 20 mm to 50 mm, depending on the type of spacer.
It prevents the reinforcement from touching the formwork, thereby ensuring a concrete layer between the reinforcement and the air.
The required quantity is from 4 to 6 pieces per 1 m².
During installation, the spacers are positioned at intervals of 50–70 cm from each other.
Their use greatly simplifies the installation process, ensuring precise spatial fixation of each reinforcing bar and of the entire reinforcement structure as a whole.
