A spring clamp (clip) is used to secure formwork panels without the need for tie rods.
It is attached to wire or reinforcement bars with a diameter of 6 to 10 mm and tightened using a special key.

The clamp can be used with or without panel formwork when constructing foundations, tunnel shafts, walls, columns, and other monolithic concrete structures.

The spring clamp is made of steel.
Its toothed locking tongue is nitrided (hardened in a nitrogen environment), which keeps the teeth sharp and durable over a long service life.

This reinforcement clamp offers several advantages compared to other models:

  • Reinforced design with a stiffening rib, capable of withstanding loads up to 3 tons;

  • Hardened disc-shaped tongue with a width of 6 mm;

  • Fastening mechanism equipped with a high-strength, tight spring;

  • Plate thickness of 4 mm, preventing deformation under full load;

  • All components and the body are galvanized, increasing service life on construction sites;

  • Large support base, with a total weight of 430 grams.

The spring clamp is installed on only one side of the monolithic frame formwork.
On the opposite side of the rebar, a stopper — a short piece of reinforcing bar — is welded.
As a result, one end of the bar looks like the letter “T”, while the other end remains free.
This free end is inserted into the formwork hole, and a spring clamp is placed on it, which fixes the structure securely, functioning in the same way as a nut and tie rod assembly.

When using clamps, the rebar does not need to be removed — it is enough to cut off the protruding end, and the cut point is sealed with mastic.

The clamps can withstand multiple concreting cycles, maintaining their performance over time.

The absence of expensive components such as tie rods, nuts, and additional consumables (PVC tubes and cones), combined with the ease and speed of installation, makes this solution a cost-effective and practical alternative for building strip foundations, monolithic walls and columns, and concrete belts.

SPRING CLAMP – THE MOST COST-EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE TO NUTS AND TIE RODS!

Installed on one side of the formwork, with a welded stopper on the opposite end of the rebar, the spring clamp ensures secure fixation, reusable performance, and simple installation without the need for heavy or expensive formwork hardware.
