Semi-gantry crane (SGC)

This type of equipment is designed for lifting and moving heavy loads and is generally operated outdoors.

It is used for lifting and transporting various loads weighing up to 32 tons.
The crane consists of a span (made of an I-beam and pipe or box-section beams), supports (“legs”) that hold the span, and end carriages equipped with motor reducers for traveling along rails or square tracks.
Power supply is typically provided via an electric cable, though other methods may also be used.

The crane is controlled by a wired pendant control with an emergency stop button. Optional features include radio remote control or cabin operation to enhance convenience and operational safety.

The lifting and traveling mechanism consists of a stationary hoist moion usually includes a frequency converter for travel control, a brake system, an anemometer for wind speed monitoring, and protective covers for electrical components.unted on a movable trolley or a conventional lifting mechanism.
