Spacers for Lightweight Wooden Formwork

The spacers for lightweight wooden formwork are made of drawn steel with rounded edges.
The spacers are not joined or welded, each having a tensile strength of over 70 kg/mm².

The length of the spacers varies from 10 cm to 100 cm, in 5 cm increments, depending on the thickness of the wall to be poured.

Their use ensures high efficiency in construction and repair works.

The spacers are single-use, as after reinforcement and pouring of the wall, they remain inside the concrete structure.

The spacers are packed in cardboard boxes, each containing 100 pieces.

Metal Spacers for Lightweight Wooden Formwork

  • When assembling the formwork, it is essential to use spacers from the same manufacturer.
  • Before pouring concrete, carefully check that the spacers are properly connected to the wedges and clamps.
  • Formwork with spacers of different lengths should not be used in order to ensure uniform strength across the entire surface.
  • To install the correct number of spacers, the manufacturer’s instructions must be followed to ensure high-quality concrete casting.
  • Concrete pouring should be done slowly, especially at the base of the formwork;
  • the maximum vertical pouring rate should not exceed 2.5 m/hour.
