Shipping Containers (20’ and 40’)

Shipping containers — also known as cargo containers, rail containers, or ISO containers — are the ideal solution for storage purposes at exhibitions, company premises, or construction sites. In addition, these containers are perfectly suited for sea freight transportation. The company offers 20- and 40-foot shipping containers with various equipment options.

Types and Sizes of Shipping Containers

Standard production 20’ and 40’ shipping containers are available in High Cube (HC) and Dry Van (DV) versions. Below are the container dimensions (L/W/H):

  • 20’ DV Shipping Container: 6,058 × 2,438 × 2,591 mm

  • 20’ HC Shipping Container: 6,058 × 2,438 × 2,896 mm

  • 40’ DV Shipping Container: 12,192 × 2,438 × 2,591 mm

  • 40’ HC Shipping Container: 12,192 × 2,438 × 2,896 mm

DV (Dry Van) containers are fully enclosed, with doors located on one end.
HC (High Cube) containers differ from Dry Van types by being taller and offering a larger internal volume.

Optional Equipment for Shipping Containers

As with office or sanitary block containers, CONTAINEX offers customization options for shipping containers, including:

  • Flooring: 28 mm thick, multi-layer plywood made from eco-friendly bamboo (suitable for Australia)

  • Anti-slip coating

  • Corten steel construction

  • Forged and galvanized locking mechanisms

  • Integrated Lock-Box for enhanced anti-theft protection

All offered models of shipping containers feature double doors on the end side that open across the entire width.
The walls are made of corrugated steel panels with a steel frame, and the floor covering is made of wood mounted on steel crossbeams.
