A screw tension key for wedge clamps is designed for fixing the clamp on rebar with a diameter from 6 mm to 10 mm.
• Equipped with a bearing for easier rotation and reduced wear of the part.
• Used for tightening the ends of the formwork.
• Made of high-quality steel.
• All parts are galvanized and protected against corrosion.
The spring clamp is the most cost-effective alternative to a nut and tie rod!
Clamps are installed only on one side of the monolithic frame formwork. On the opposite side, a stopper — a short piece of rebar — is welded. Thus, one end of the rebar looks like the letter “T”, while the other remains free. This free end is inserted into the formwork hole, and a clamp is placed on it, ensuring structural stability similar to that provided by a nut and tie rod.
When using clamps, the rebar does not need to be removed — only the protruding end should be cut off, and the cut point is sealed with mastic.
The clamps can withstand multiple concrete pouring cycles.
The absence of the need to purchase expensive tie rods, nuts, and additional consumables (PVC tubes and cones), combined with their speed and ease of use, allows for a simple and cost-effective solution for assembling formwork for strip foundations, monolithic walls and columns, and reinforced concrete belts.
