Star Spacer (Rebar Wheel Spacer)
The star spacer is designed to ensure the protective concrete cover in vertical concrete structures, such as monolithic walls and columns (wall formwork).
The star spacer provides a protective layer ranging from 20 mm to 50 mm, depending on the type of spacer.
It prevents the reinforcement from touching the formwork, thereby ensuring a concrete layer between the reinforcement and the air.
During installation work, the spacers are placed at a distance of 50–70 cm from each other.
Their use significantly simplifies the installation process, ensuring precise spatial positioning of each reinforcement bar and the entire reinforcement structure as a whole.
